Breakout Session
Servant Leadership: Christ-based leadership for any leadership style
Servant leadership is a paradox; how can one serve their followers and lead them simultaneously? Learn how servant leadership principals put your followers first, focusing on their needs, providing the opportunity for their self-actualization, and facilitating success in your team, organization, or ministry. This class describes the fundamental principles of servant leadership, illustrates how you can use servant leadership in your ministry, business, and daily life, and provides you with the opportunity to draft a leadership mission statement incorporating servant leadership principles. Servant leadership allows you to reflect the leadership of Christ through genuine care for others while achieving your goals as a leader.
15-Minute Appointments
Servant Leadership
Whether you are a speaker, author, or administrator, you lead people through your ministry. Nathan would love to discuss how you can incorporate servant leadership principles into your ministry. He will help you answer Greenleaf’s best test of servant leadership: do followers “while being served, become healthier, wiser, freer, more autonomous, more likely themselves to become servants? And, what is the effect on the least privileged in society? Will they benefit or at least not be further deprived?”
